Studio Shaft Picks Up RWBY And Turns It 2D
By WakeUpSnooze • 2 years ago

Well, RWBY once again shot into popularity and went trending just in time for the weekend. Last Friday studio Shaft announced that they will be creating  a RWBY anime spinoff set in the early volumes of the series. It’s clear that the vast majority will be recreating moments from that first season, and then there will be an original storyline focusing on whatever the Ice Queendom is going to be. Shaft are no strangers to animating girls fighting shit, and the first peek trailer is looking fucking awesome. RWBY’s best aspects have always been the music, the designs, and most importantly the fights. The latter of which Shaft is teasing some epic shit as the video has some gorgeous animation. Trailers are just trailers though so I’ll withhold my judgment until we actually have episodes on our hands. Regardless, the hype is real for the RWBY community right now.

Now even those who aren’t fans of the series may have something to be excited about. RWBY porn is godlike. I don’t know why, but there’s an absolute shit ton of it and the girls are almost always looking hot as hell. Artists just know how to work with them for some reason. It also helps that you have a ton of variety in terms of hot characters in RWBY both male and female. I absolutely surmise that this reimagination in a 2D style is going to make the amount of lewd art and productions absolutely fucking skyrocket once it’s airing on a weekly basis. Speaking of which, Shaft has claimed it will be coming later this year. That being said, “2022, release” isn’t exactly the most concrete statement but hey I’m down if it happens. Whenever we get it, I’ll be there first in line to see if Shaft’s work can live up to the beautiful choreography that the show has to offer. Fingers crossed because RWBY loves to be a disappointment sometimes.

YESSIR more of this please and thank you.

Speaking of which, go ahead and throw out a RWBY fighting game with this anime ArcSys. Y’all worked with Rooster Teeth before, go nuts and make my day please. Cross Tag was fun while it lasted but that game is kinda dead and I don’t know if rollback will save it, plus there’s still a TON of the cast that need translations into a fighter. Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers. Are you keeping up with RWBY? Will this transition finally answer the age old debate of “is RWBY a real anime?” Was Shaft a good choice? Draw your sword, then use the secondary gun function to shoot your opponent, and emerge victorious in the comments below!
