Well, Tower of God Season 2 is finally over…or SO I THOUGHT!!!

I thought the series was going to end on a…less than a bang, but it’s still going. Which, as a Tower of God fan, I should be happy, but with this second season being a struggle to finish and get through, I’m hoping, NO!!! I’m PRAYING that the second cour is better.

People are always dreading a series that they follow getting a bad adaptation, and as someone who hasn’t read the Tower of God manwha/webtoon, I was wondering if this is how the original story was like. From what I can tell from manwha readers, the anime pacing is off, and the character development is rushed and hard to follow, compared to the source material. And don’t get me started on the horrible animation.

This is so disappointing, many people hyping this arc up, considering it one of their favorites, only for the new studio involved with this second season to fuck it up. I have doubts that they actually saved their budget for the second cour and are going to blow all our expectations out of the waters. But maybe I’ll be making that job easy for them, since right now, my expectations are at an all time low.
