Nikke Collabs With Nier, Butt...

Collaborations are popping off in the world of anime games these days, and that canโ€™t be any truer for the gacha games market. Most gacha are shitty cash grabs that have to rely on enticing the player with ulterior rewards to spend money rather than simply the game itself being fun and thus naturally earning some monetary spending. Today Iโ€™m afraid my point has been proven again as Nikke has announced a partnership with Nier: Automata thatโ€™ll be releasing officially come September 1st. Now this actually hurt my heart a little bit and Iโ€™ll explain why.

In case you donโ€™t know what Nikke is, itโ€™s a simplistic gacha where you acquire characters, assemble a team, and then use them to shoot enemies while hiding behind a wall. Itโ€™s gameplay I suppose, however itโ€™s one of the most watered-down forms of shooting Iโ€™ve ever seen. Essentially the TRUE gameplay is watching the jiggle of the hot girlsโ€™ asses as they bounce from the weapon recoil. No really, thatโ€™s actually the main appeal of the game and what made it have some viral success in the beginning of its life cycle. These days I donโ€™t know anyone who still plays Nikke, I donโ€™t see it ever crop up in my timeline,  and overall I forgot of its existence until this announcement. What sucks is that Nier: Automata is a fantastic game from what I played, and beyond my own opinion was a landmark title for the industry. Itโ€™s been an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys action games for years and to see it collaborate with such a piece of shit like Nikke definitely feels like the Nier team got the short end of the stick. Hopefully that means they got the big end of the money bag, because one of these entities is an award-winning juggernaut of the action genre, and the other jiggles ass in your face and hopes you spend some money unlocking other girls whose asses also jiggle in perhaps a slightly different manner. A tad unbalanced from my perspective.

I canโ€™t imagine anyone out there being hype for this. Apparently Nikke fans say the story is somehow actually good. Iโ€™ll never know as ya boy could never subject himself to the โ€œgameplayโ€ for that long. Do you still play this game? Does this seem like an equal trade or blatant one-sided cash grab? Will you be rolling on the Nier banner? Collect some girls, load them with weapons from the armory, and get those asses shaking on the battlefield to distract the enemy in the comments below! At least thatโ€™s one aspect of this partnership that IS balanced. 2Bโ€™s thiccness is not to be underestimated.

As someone who plays nikke for 3 months, i have to say, the story is indeed top tier, its sad, melancolic and aventuristic in some cases, and every single character has a motivation and personality that contributes to the plot. Its kinda sad that people only see the part of the game about jiggles, and not the other stuff. Its like a friend said, you came for the "plot", but people stay because of the actual game stor

As someone who'd never give a red cent to gambling games; Nikke is one of the better titles when it comes to fanservice, guns, and near-robot-fucking-fetishes. Plus the story WILL squeeze tears out of you like a lemon.

I started because of the boobies and having played Destiny Child. I stayed for the depression that is the story and amusing yet also depressing events

The Christmas story event with the jiggly gyaru girl and the commander investigate to find the parents of the amnesiac kid Nikke to have a Christmas together and discover the poverty and desperation of a mother who had no options to save her daughter with the rare brain condition except selling her to the post-apocalyptic weapons program that scammed her for debt payments still makes me cry.

I have *played* Nikke, but I wouldn't say I'm a player of the game. But I will say that the story is pretty compelling. I personally just let the game play Auto when I have played it, and I also would personally say that if you are trying to actively play it, you really don't notice the "jiggling" feature nor even the girls because you're too focused on shooting the monsters. But that's just me.

This is a perspective thing. Just like how you value Nier and think Nikke is a peddler for jiggles, ive been playing Nikke from shortly after launch, and never viewed Nier as more than an indie game where the selling point was a big assed robot. I was confused it got an anime and so many collabs. Plus i am glad Nikke has a simpler style of gameplay. I dont want my gacha game taking up too muchtime
