If you haven’t heard, the Metaphor: ReFantazio demo has dropped for all to play. And that demo is jam packed with content. Over 5 hours of the main game beginning prologue. It was an enjoyable experience from the beginning to end. It really has cemented me getting the game day one. But there was one thing that kind of plagued my mind as I was playing the game. It’s just Persona 5 in a fantasy setting.

You can't tell me this isn't just the Persona 3 MC and Akihiko.

Now to some, this might not be that much of a surprise. It’s made by the same people that made Persona, so of course it’ll feel like Persona. And yes while that is true, I didn’t think there would be SO much simulairy. But there are, down to how the main characters awaken to their Personas-I mean, Archetypes, and the dungeon structure.

Now to be fair, the gameplay loop, and bonding system seem to be different. But the game truly at this point feels like Shin Megami Tensei and Persona had a baby. The team over at Studio Zero just took concepts from both games and just slammed them all together. And even with it feeling so familary, that doesn’t stop it from being enjoyable.

Now the only question now is if the game will get alot of porn like Persona, or be lacking in that department like the Shin Megami Tensei series. At this moment, it seems like alot of people have found a fondness of one side character, Brigitta , and I can see why. Hopefully if anything, we can see some good ass hentai art of her once the full game drops.
