Now I’ve seen some ugly girls in my days, which isn’t a bad thing to say, I know every girl isn’t going to think I’m hot shit, it’s all a matter of preference. But it always bugged me in anime when a girl is supposed to be the “ugly” girl of the series and they’re usually nothing close to ugly. I ran into this problem recently in Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo (Are You Really the Only One Who Likes Me?) or Oresuki. And the ugly girl in question today is Sumireko Sanshokuin, or Pansy for short.

Now Pansy is the resident ugly girl of the series. This isn’t even just our MC Joro’s opinion, it seems like the whole school consider this girl to be ugly. So just because this girl has black braided hair, thick rimmed glasses, and a flat chest, I’m supposed to think she’s ugly? I’m not sure if these anime studios ever seen an ugly girl before, but Pansy is not one of them.

Now this is the ugly Pansy we need.

But hey, don’t worry, if you thought Pansy was ugly, then you were mistaken. She’s actually secretly hot! Watch her become instantly hot when she undo her braids, take her glasses off, and reveals that she actually have huge tittes…

Yeah, I actually think she’s hotter the other way.

And if she’s still not hot to you, you always have the other to main girls Cosmos and Himawari.

Yeah, these girls still aren’t doing it for me. I still think plain old Pansy is hotter.

But hey, maybe I have shit tastes in girls, or maybe I just like ugly girls. But at the end of the day, Pansy is nowhere near what I would call “ugly”, and if you think she is, then maybe you should borrow her thick rim glasses, because you must be blind.
