Fake Anime Fans Are Upset Again

The anime isn’t even out yet, and people are already complaining about it. I’m starting to feel like anime “fans” aren’t like they used to be. I hate using the word “tourist”, but that’s the only appropriate way to describe these new gen anime fans.

Everything has to be an issue nowadays, people can’t just watch a show, and enjoy it for what it is. Something has to trigger someone, something has to be off about the show, something has to be political. Like, I remember when we could see a crazy scene in an anime and not act like it was the most mishandled thing ever. This ain’t them creaticing the story, or the characters, are doing any deeper analyzation. No, just crying, and having a knee jerk reaction. Just imagine how crazy these people would have acted if they saw this Soul Eater scene today.

Like, if you don’t want to watch the new My Hero Academia: Vigilantes series, that’s fine. But don’t go around with this fake outrage, acting like this ruins the show. Like, you were either never going to watch the show in the first place and just wanted to hop on the slander train, or you’re still going to watch the show even though you’re acting like this is the worst thing you ever saw. Either way, it’s sad to see  a lot of fake anime fans and tourists in the anime community now.

Getting upset at normal anime things now.

Do people complain about everything now? Does this ruin My Hero Academia: Vigilantes for you? Are you going to watch My Hero Academia: Vigilantes? Tell us in the comments.

Context, intent, and worldbuilding never matters to these people. They see bad act, they scream because they don't want bad act to EVER be depicted no matter the reason. Yet I'm willing to bet they love and adore it when Game of Thrones or White Lotus does the same or worse and will come up with every excuse to defend it.

It's almost as if anime was never designed for normies in the first place. Now every Karen and male feminist under the sun wants to tear down anything that goes against the norm because they want to have power over others so they can feel important. Literal tantrum kid bully mentality. The only thing that's scarier to these guys than logic and facts is people learning to think for themselves.

It shows how dark the world can be and how dangerously out of their league the inexperienced heroes were. Knuckleduster showing up as the cavalry is a saving grace.

Can we go back to when Anime wasn’t “mainstream”? I would rather go to a corner of the internet that barely anyone goes to then deal with these lemmings.

What even are these comments? Like, MHA is definitely oversexed, that isn't new. As far as SA is concerned, this scene is less problematic than the Dandadan episode 1 bit.
This Fire Force scene though, is it actually fanservice or is this twitter bitch just complaining "muscle girl on screen, me mad".

The only part that stuck out to me is the "gets forgived" comment. Their bad grammar aside, forgiveness is overused in anime and everything else nowadays. It's like an over-correction from all the vengeance tropes we used to have. Forgiveness is for cucks. Kill your abusers, unless you're a fucking idiot.
