Is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth TOO MUCH??!!
By ImJustThatKinky • 2 months ago

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth might be going a little TOO far with this remake. I know more content is always good, and if it’s just extra content, then it’s a win win for everyone. But sometimes, even though the extra content doesn’t distract from the main ones. IT CAN SOMETIME BE TOO MUCH!!!

At the latest State of Play, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was shown for another time, with a 20 minute presentation, showing off story beats, graphics, characters, exploration, and all the small little things you can do while detouring off the beaten path.

The side mini games you can do in this game are just completely crazy. You have a beat'em game, a space shooter, racing, playing music, soccer, and even more.

Now mini games in games isn’t something that’s new, hell, I’m playing Yakuza Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and they have a whole Animal Crossing and Crazy Taxi inspired mini game, but for some reason, those game don’t blow my mind as much as when I’m looking at all the games that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have.

Now like I said, these mini games aren’t a problem if it doesn’t hurt the main story, more content is always good. It’s just so overwhelming, and a little intimidating looking at all the stuff I’ll be able to do. Hell, I’m pretty sure I might not even play most of them. But I’m interested in seeing how well these games actually play, and will they actually provide benefits or be fun enough to make me want to come back to them again and again. JRPG fans have been eating well this year, and I’m happy to be a part of it.

Hopefully after Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, we can calm down on the JRPGS, cause my wallet needs to take a break.

FUCK!!!
