The anime of winter 2024 aren’t looking that interesting. No big hitters like Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer, and no anime that people are begging for like Sakamoto Days, or another season of Noragami…no…just me? But, that doesn’t mean all is dread, when we’re getting more Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.



The second cour of Frieren is looking to be a banger, and I’m so happy I decided to pick up this series. A series about a group of heroes just taking a journey through their land in order to reach their destination. A simple plot that I didn’t think I'd be interested in, but it’s all thanks to the wonderfully written characters.

The dynamic between the characters and chemistry keeps your ears focused, and the animation keeps your eyes glued to the screen.I think it’s safe to say that this series has put MADHOUSE back on the map, after being in the dark all this time. I hope they keep dropping bangers like this show, and remind people why they used to be the GOATs back in the day.

If anyone is struggling on what they need to watch this season and haven’t checked out Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End yet, I highly recommend catching up with it, and giving it a try. The doujins are also good.
