I thought I was safe in July. I thought no game would come out that I would be interested in, except for the free to play games such as The First Descendant and Zenless Zone Zero. But I was wrong, with reviews of the latest The Legend of Heroes game Trails Through Daybreak dropping, and the closely approaching July 5th release date, it might have just caught my interest.
I kind of don’t want to hop into another JRPG, with me almost being done with Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance, I thought I was going to be able to take a break. But nope, I might have to hop right back into another 60 hours plus adventure.
I heard about this game awhile back when the English voice cast was being announced on Twitter, but I paid no mind to it really. And with new screen shots of the English translation version surfacing, some people are worried.
It seems like the Trails series is known for more colorful localization efforts. I’m not sure at this point if it’s game breaking for me. Cause I do have to admit, some of these scenes in English are pretty funny.
Trails Through Daybreak is getting great reviews across the board, which really gets my hopes up. I’m guessing I might have to bust the wallet out, and skip on Black Myth: Wukong, for Trails of Daybreak.
Have you played any of the Trails games? Are you interested in Trails Through Daybreak? Do you think the localization is too much? Tell us in the comments.
It does have, hands down, the worst HDR implementation I've ever seen in a PC game, though.
