People are going crazy over Girls Frontlines 2. I saw videos on Twitter and thought it was maybe just some random 3D animation that some NSFW creator made, but nope, it was a scene coming from the official game.

A true waifu simulator, where you can get all close and personal with the girl of your choosing. This is another one of those gacha games, games like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Wuthering Waves. But when it comes to design and aesthetic, it’s more so like Goddess of Victory: Nikke. But even so it wasn't enough for it to get nominated.

Now, I know you guys aren’t here for me to talk about the girls and how hot they are. You’re here to hear about the gameplay, and the game is a turn-based strategy game. Think of something like Fire Emblem or XCOM. A style of game I’m quite familiar with and also enjoy a lot.

Maybe a style you didn’t expect from such a gooner game like this, but even the sexy games bring more depth into everything. It’s not just big boobs that sell, but big boobs and PLOT that sells.

They’re putting a lot of detail in they’re female models, so you know they’re trying to sell them way more than any weapon skins. We’re trying to see they’re skin. This game just got hyped up recently, so it’s already grabbing itself a pretty vocal fanbase. We’ll see how long it lasts, and if it’ll get to the level of popularity that we start seeing doujins made of it. None of the girls speak to me yet, but that might change soon.
