I’ve been having my eyes on this game for a while now after hearing that it’ll have voice acting (you should know me by now). And with the demo of Here Be Monsters! finally out. I can safely say that the wait was worth it for me!

The first thing you’ll notice is their slick menu screen and UI. Many Ren’Py games usually keep the generic Ren’Py UI, which isn’t a bad thing, but the extra effort and touches they put int Here Be Monsters! presentation is truly something to appreciate. It has a jungle and adventurer sort of theme going on, which fits perfectly with the games setting.

In Here Be Monster! you play a pretty swoove and go getting doctor Alex, who is shipwrecked on an island inhabited by monsters. But don’t worry, this island isn’t inhabited by the regular scary and grotesque monsters. The monsters you’ll be introduced to are two lovely female Jaguars. Myra, the more forward and get what she wants type older sister, and Taisa, the younger and more tsundere type.

You’re presented with one sex scene, and let me tell you...I need more. A great hand job scene that was voiced perfectly, showing great emotion in Myra’s attitude and her dominates in the situation. It also last a pretty good length, so they didn’t try to cheap out on us when it came to a good sex scene.
