If you ask the fighting game community who the hottest character in Guilty Gear is, there’s a good chance they’ll say Baiken. She consistently does well in popularity polls and was a highly requested woman for the latest installment in the series, Guilty Gear: Strive. She’s no stranger to battle and her missing arm and eye instantly reinforce that fact to anyone who sees her design. Hell, Kinky even did an entire article last year going over Baiken’s unique charms and stated he’s hoping for a Baiken appearance in Strive. Well, it was only a matter of time and the time has come. This week ArcSys released a couple of  trailers for Baiken showing her off in the new title. You can take a quick look for yourself below if you’d like.

Now some were a bit afraid that Baiken’s design was quite prone to being heavily changed considering how other characters, mainly I-No, have been toned down. However, as you can see in the trailer and official art her honkers haven’t gone anywhere. In fact they’re looking bigger than ever. So big that Jiyuna, a fighting game community YouTuber had to change the thumbnail on one of his videos as Baiken’s dangerous assets seemingly violated the TOS. Of course Arc Sys got away with it but hey if there’s one thing I learned on YouTube: big companies don’t have to follow the rules like the rest of us baby. Regardless, I hope the censorship crowd can be happy she still has her unbrazen attitude and body while the player base can be happy she has a fun moveset. Looks like we’ll have to see how that second part shapes up on Friday.

Baiken will be available on Friday (1/28/2022) for season pass holders and next Monday (1/31/2022) for individual purchase. I know the boys and I are excited to play her, and excited to fap to new lewds of her. Strive has had a huge cultural impact on lewdness with the Jack-O pose meme and I surmise that Baiken’s arrival will only further inspire artists to produce some sexy content.
