Another day of people trying to feel like a hero on Twitter, by protecting the rights of a fictional character. I actually already had an article written up about this character in a more…sexual manner, which seemingly, these people wouldn’t be so fond of.
A drawing of a video game character named Anya, drawn by artist USA, made it rounds and got so much traction and hate, that the artist had to sadly bend the knee, and apologize, which always sucks.
And then we have people who think they’re hero’s trying to “fix” the drawings.
But sadly, this hero isn’t as bulletproof as Superman.
Getting their ass beat in the retweets.
Anya is a cute and attractive fictional character. However, if someone wants to draw them, they can, it doesn't really matter. Don’t like it, then block the artist and move on. I played the game, and yeah, it’s horrible what happened to her, but whatever happened to her outside the context of the game is well…fair game. Even the creator of the game had things to say about the matter.
So even if the creators are telling people to chill, who do you think is really on the right side now? It’s always stupid seeing this shit, cause these will always be the people who want to “protect victims” while actual human being are being sexual abuse and tortured, but it’s not like they’re donating to charities to help those people get the help they need from the traumatic experience they went through. No, they’d rather shit talk about an artist online. Crazy help you’re bringing the community there pal. I’m just happy I’m not delusional and know that Anya is a hot fictional character, that I wouldn’t mind having consensual sex with if she was real.
What do you think about the drama? Do you think it’s okay to lewd Anya? Why do people want to protect fictional characters? Tell us in the comments.
