The Tsukihime visual novel is getting a remake. Melty Blood, a fighting game based on the Tsukihime visual novel, is also getting a remake. So now the question is, will the Tsukihime anime get the same remake treatment as the two games.

Anime remakes have been really popular recently, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Tsukihime getting a remake. I’ve heard that the first Tsukihime anime wasn’t all that good as an adaptation, just like the first Fate/stay night anime. So you know what happened, Ufotable gave everyone a Fate/stay night remake that looked better and stayed more true to the source material. So who’s to say that Ufotable won’t pick up another Type-Moon property and remake Tsukihime. Maybe after they’ve finished Demon Slayer Season 2, they’ll start working on Tsukihime.

I wouldn’t mind a remake of Tsukihime. I’ve never watched the original Tsukihime anime, but if it’s given that Ufotable flair and beauty, I’ll be totally down with giving it a try.
