Does everything in this world have to turn into a race issue? No, it doesn’t, and I’m about to throw out the facts. When the Bowsette meme was created she was drawn with blonde hair and white skin, after that a remake of the comic came out making Bowsette more tan with red hair. This became a debate as to which one was the true Bowsette, as more and more fan art of the different two came out. Now which one is the true Bowsette? Well if you want to go with were the meme originally came from, it would be the blonde one. But which Bowsette truly makes since in the grand scheme of everything? Let’s find out.

First off, since this was the original artist interpretation of the character Bowsette, it already has a leg up. But a bigger thing is what does the Super Crown do? From what we saw from the Super Mario Bros Deluxe trailer, it turns it’s wearer (Toadette) into a form of Princess Peach, which is why Bowser would not change his hair color or skin tone, he is a Bowser Princess Peach, not a Princess Bowser.

Now this Bowser is more accurate if you want a look at how Bowser would be as a human woman. Bowser does already have red hair in his normal form, so that all checks out. And the dark skin isn’t really anywhere on Bowser unless you want to talk about his tanish scales, but Bowser does look like he would have dark skin if he was ever to change into a human. But the rule that it has to be a different version of Peach was thrown out the window once Booette and others started coming out, which turned many of them to only genderbend version of themselves.

Now which one I think should be canon? Well I feel like the blondie one should be canon if we’re going with the ability of the crown. The whole point of the meme is that it turns Bowser into a form of Princess Peach. If we use the dark skin version (which is fucking hot by the way) it’s more of just a human girl Bowser and there is no need for the Super Crown to be involved.
