I figured this was coming, but damn I didn't know it would happen so fast. Recently VShojo has announced itself and many are calling it the first truly Western Vtuber talent company. Looking at the lineup we got some big names already. So far the list consists of Nyanners, Projekt Melody, Apricot, Zentreya, Silvervale, Ironmouse, and Hime. If you know porn at all you’d be quite familiar with Projekt Melody. I’ve been watching little Nyanners clips since back in the day, at this point she should be close to YouTube veteran status. I don’t know Ironmouse but it feels like I do because YouTube won’t shut the fuck up about her on my feed. You can watch the official debut trailer below.

An interesting point is that the company is really shoving this whole FREEDOM thing. I guess that’s just the American way baby. Their website reads “Founded by fans of VTuber culture, we aim to create and foster content that pushes the boundaries of VTubing and talent freedom”. This comes pretty closely after Coco and Haachama from Hololive got their asses absolutely blasted by China for mentioning Taiwan in a way the big ole CCP didn’t like, or something like that. I’m wondering if this is some sort of direct response or if the plan was always to push on the angle of talent freedom. I’m certainly all for it either way. In a trailer video on the VShojo highlights channel, Nyanners is already saying shit like “I want to sample her bodily fluids” so the company is already staying true to its word at least in the sexual department. Lord knows you better allow some sexual freedom if you’re putting Projekt Melody in your team. I’ll be keeping watch to see if it continues this trend down the road or if the company immediately takes some hypocritical restrictive action months later. People were hyping up Justin Ignacio (CEO, “theGunrun”) and Phillip Fortunat (CTO, “Mowtendoo”) in the comments so maybe there’s a chance we got some banger management in the works. 

I want to state again, damn this shit happened fast didn’t it? At the beginning of 2020 I don’t think I could name a single Vtuber, and now I know more of them bitches than family members. The rise of an English company was only natural considering that so many Western people have been using Vtuber models and whatnot, but I didn’t think they would be able to manage and organize everyone so fast. I guess that’s the perk of offering your members a lot of freedom. Not much reason to say no. As always this will surely generate a ton of lewd content, especially with Melody hanging around. My dick looks forward to it.
