I always saw Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai doujins on the site, but never really paid them any mind. But now that I’ve seen episode 1 of Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai, I can safely say that I’m invested in the show and I love the fuck out of Uzaki-chan herself. Just from 1 episode! But just from looking at Uzaki-chan’s design, I could already tell that she was going to start some kind of problem. A problem she caused.

This little gremlin isn’t just causing problems within the show.

Uzaki-chan can easily be seen as a prime target for people who have that, anime is sexist agenda. And sure enough, Uzaki -chan brought those people out of the woodworks. Two reviewers trashed the show because of Uzaki-chan’s personality, her huge boobs, and the main characters' way of treating Uzaki-chan.

Luckily, anime fans quickly pointed out how stupid and nonsensical the reviews were. In all honesty, I didn’t expect myself to like Uzaki-chan as much as I did. It’s definitely a surprise favorite for me at the moment. But we’ll see if it keeps that up as the episodes go on. Atleast I know watching the show is going to make reading the doujins even better.
