It’s always nice to find a new NSFW artist, but it’s not nice to see that NSFW artist go. Everyone has their different reasons for leaving a certain situation, and artists are no exception. But the reason isn’t always a good one. I ran into Sassquatch’s art a little while ago and fell quite in love with it. It has a really soft and smooth look to it. Hell, their OC Desiree is a hell of a snack in her own rights.

But, we soon won’t be getting any more of Desiree or any other characters that Sassquatch decides to draw because they’ll be leaving the NSFW art scene pretty soon.

It’s always said when people leave for a reason like being found out or because of outside influences. Most artists start out as SFW artists and venture out into NSFW. It’s funny how much success people usually find when they move into the NSFW community. It’s much easier to gain traction with NSFW content than SFW content. I’m not sure why, but success brings attention, and some people would rather avoid getting attention from their family and friends when it comes to their NSFW content. People are prudes, and even people that are close to you would shame you for doing something smutty. And because of that fear, we won’t be seeing anymore of Sassqatch’s beautiful art.

It sucks that these are the kind of worries that make people leave the NSFW community, but many people aren’t open about sexual content and that’s been a thing for awhile now. It’s been getting better, but NSFW content is still looked down upon. Hopefully 2021 we can slowly keep fixing that.
