Well, it’s been confirmed, the Hunter x Hunter manga is coming back, and it’s for real this time. Not a rumor, not word of mouth, actual photo evidence and a tweet, from the creator himself, Togashi. Yes, Togashi announced a comeback using Twitter of all places. So now you all can follow his Twitter, and harsh him about why Hunter x Hunter took so long to come back.

But in all seriousness, this is a great day for Hunter x Hunter and anime fans in general. This is like a big event since Hunter x Hunter being on hiatus forever was a lifetime big meme at this point. Anime fans are eating well with Chainsaw Man coming out this year, and manga fans are eating well with Hunter x Hunter coming out this year. This year is shaping up to have some pretty good releases. Even the Japanese VAs for Gon and Killua got emotional.

But, we also have to look at the sad truth. Togashi came off hiatus before, did a few chapters, and then had to leave again. So he can easily just drop a few chapters and leave for 2 years again. Also, I’m a Hunter x Hunter anime watcher, so I still have to watch maybe years before I get the Hunter x Hunter content I want. But, I feel like just getting a few chapters gives us hope, and that’s all us Hunter x Hunter fans need right now.
