I’ve been enjoying the Rurouni Kenshin remake, that I have. But I haven’t been enjoying the way Kenshin talks, that I haven’t.

Yeah, I do have a question. WHY DO YOU TALK LIKE THAT??!!

Kenshin has an ever old way of speaking. I’m not sure what it is called, but it’s his personal tick/quirk that he has. It’s almost like when a cat character says “nya” at the end of their sentence.

When characters do that, it doesn’t get on my nerves the way Kenshin's little quirk does. But I’m happy to say that after episode 3, I’m over it. It’s still weird reading him talk that way, but it’s definitely not getting on my nerves like it did in episode one. It might still annoy me sometimes here and there, but you won’t be seeing me tell him that to his face.

I am scared of Kenshin, that I am.

At this point, even if his way of talking was still annoying me, I feel like I would still have to deal with it because of how much I’m enjoying the show. It’s well paced and the characters are enjoyable. And I’m just happy I’m getting to relive a classic anime that many loved in the past.
