Miss Kobayashi and Tohru Go Retro in Hentai!
By WakeUpSnooze • 4 years ago

Oh my god, guys I almost missed a fucking Christmas miracle. Luckily there’s still time to talk about it before the year ends. If there’s one thing that’s hard to come by in hentai, it’s yuri. Doujins aren’t too bad, after every new set of releases or so there comes a new one along that’s good enough to fap too. But god everytime I check for some yuri hentai it’s another disappointment. Luckily, some independent creators are going above and beyond these days.

Enter bluethebone, a hentai artist whose focus is on NSFW anime videos done in a retro style to fuel those nostalgia brain cells. Now I’ll be the first to admit, I wasn’t into anime at the time that this style was the mainstage, popular attraction that it was. I personally wasn’t sucked in until the 10-12 age range, and by then the industry had already transitioned into the more modern style that has become prevalent today. Regardless, it’s still nice to see the old style done so truthfully AND have sex in it. At the end of the year, bluethebone did an animation for Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid that involved Tohru and Kobayashi poppin’ off together. And I couldn’t believe my ears: it even had some voice acting thrown in. I won’t lie, it wasn’t that long, but in the hentai yuri world, you gotta take what you can get sometimes especially when a fully-equipped studio isn’t on the table. For this year at least, my search for a little holiday yuri is over.

Even the subtitles look old as hell!

I think the craziest thing about this whole project is that it serves as a reminder to how viable independent creators are these days, especially when associated with sexual concepts. With the power of the Internet, a creator can get into contact with voice actors, editors, script writers, and whatnot all around the world and for a variety of price ranges. The knowledge to keep growing and expanding your craft is also available on the Internet in related communities. There’s simply a lot more avenues in order to get projects completed in place then there was back in the time of original retro anime. The viability of being independent just seems to keep on growing, while I couldn’t imagine trying to be independent with the tools and resources present in the industry thirty years ago.

Or maybe you're more of a Fate type.
