Is This NTR?

I feel like people get kind of too deep when it comes to some characters and drawings. Like, most people who haven’t even finished the Bleach manga don’t even know that Ichigo and Orihime get together at the end. Most people might have considered Ichigo and Rukia to get together, so it’s already kind of silly to get mad at some art pairing. And it’s a shonen, romantic relationships are mostly an after thought anyways. This became a kind of problem and discussion when the artist Aestheticc Meme posted their latest Orihime art.

This simple art got some people upset, and not for good reason to.

Like, how deep do people go with these pictures? I don’t feel like this is NTR at all. It doesn’t evoke that kind of feeling of anger in my body. All I got from this picture is that Orihime is about to get fucked. Every art that doesn’t have Ichigo in it isn’t NTR. That’s like saying every art of Ichigo fucking some one else is him cucking Orihime.

Ichigo, you cheating bastard. And with two girls no less.

Maybe I’m wrong, and it is NTR. But for me, NTR needs more context, or some kind of dialogue to give me that feeling. Just lewd art of Orihime isn’t going to do it for me. I need a gross, fat, ugly bastard to be in the drawing and then I can slap the NTR tag on it.

Damn, guess this is payback for the last pic.

Would you consider this NTR? Are people overreacting? What makes something NTR? Tell us in the comments.

It's them. Some fans are just too serious when it comes to pairings. If a pairing becomes canon, they say it's wrong to draw art of one partner with another character. Or in this case, drawing hentai art of the girl fucking other guys. If the art shows actual NTR, I don't like it. But if the male partner is not in the art, I don't see any problems.

So now people are mistaking NTR with "sex with nondescript character"? I mean, I would understand people arguing about whether something would go into NTR or if it would only end up in cheating, but come on... As mentioned here, NTR (or cheating for that matter) requires a context, a dialogue, or something like that. To make this NTR you'd need to see Ichigo's face while he witnesses it, at least.

NTR is the best genre if you don't consider yourself the protag. just don't be the loser. watch the guy become the loser

The context is that [the shounen lead], or [those other shounens] aren't getting any. That's textbook NTR.

IMMHO, that's why an artist should never a featureless bald guy. That just lets the world know that you don't care about anything but the woman.

I think it has to show or at least mention the other person getting cucked for it to be true NTR. Like with them getting sad or flustered by it. Hell, if they are dipicted as being supportive or even indifferent to it then I don't think it counts as cheating, much less NTR.

NTR implies someone is being cucked within context. If this picture had Ichigo in the background (much less anywhere) in a position where he's upset at what he's watching, then the fans would have a point.

But since there is no context within the image that implies Orihime and Ichigo are together, therefore it's free game. Unless you want to get philosophical and say the shippers are the cucks.

:0 Orihime is no.1 bleach candidate for “cucking”. There doesn’t need to be context. Maxi is infamous for ONLY cuck art and 100% don’t need context because it’s blatant obvious. It’s not like ship art where it’s meant to have a stay in your own pairings. But any corruption/mind control literally is 100%.

I feel like NTR is the most mislabeled genre within hentai as a whole though incest is a close second. It's ONLY NTR if somebody in an active relationship within the story gets stolen from somebody else. If you're too afraid to make a move and somebody else does, that isn't NTR. It's you being a coward. It's actually annoying seeing so many of these mislabeled if i'm being honest.

It only bothers me when they're faceless. Being dark-skinned and obese/muscular also gets my attention, because they're always both of those two, but having a face gives you a personality beyond being something created to rape a girl.
