Now let’s say it all together now. “Girl’s can’t rape guys!” Now, didn’t that sound stupid to say? I hope it did, cause that’s what many dumb people believe. They might not say it verbally, but they prove that this is a fact base on their actions.

As someone who works on a game that needs art and also voice work, I have to always talk to people about their dos and don’ts. Some people will say that they won’t do anything involving rape. I got this from an artist and a few VAs. Which is fine, we all have our boundaries, I get it. But when you give me stupid reasons, or you do rape things behind my back. That’s when I think you’re just stupid.

I got this a few times when searching for a female VA. They told me that they wouldn’t voice a scene of a girl getting raped. I get it, understandable. But then I look at their past works and see that they did a project where the girl is blowing a guy against his will. And I know it was against his will because she said that she won him and also said “You’re not going anywhere,” referring to him trying to leave the situation. Are doing a project where you’re a yandere and you forcing a guy to fuck you. If you’re going to say that you don’t do rape, then what makes this situation different. Is it just because it’s being done to a guy!

I feel like the people who have this viewpoint are the same people who would see Quest Failed as an okay game. Quest Failed is literally about a guy getting raped by monster girls. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the people who say they hate rape so much seed this game as totally okay and not rape.
