Seeing the new Silent Hill 2 remake and Resident Evil 4 remake, got me thinking about girls. Specifically the blonde girls of both franchises. I’m noticing that horror games have a thing for blondes, and the ones of the short hair variety.

Now in all honesty, Ashley and Heather could have had long hair in their first design, but back then, giving characters good looking long hair was a struggle, and long hair that was stiff as a board looked weird. So that’s why we had a lot of female characters in old games with short hair. Which for the short hair girl lover that I am, I VIBE WITH IT!!! Thank you for the old gen consoles limitations.

Now who do we think is hotter, Ashley or Heather? The bratty and spoiled rich girl, or the pothead stoner rebel. I feel like Ashley is really cute, don’t get me wrong, but that Paramore look and tired as fuck face that Heather has is just my style. And even though Ashley has that short hair that I like, Heather goes the extra mile and has that tomboy short hair that I REALLY like. I’m not into smoking or weed, but for Heather, I might make an exception. When you’re getting scared 24/7, I understand you needing a smoke break.

Girl, not going to lie. You look ugly in a hot kind of way.
