VTuber Accidentally Reveals Porn Collection on Stream

It's easy to forget sometimes that VTubers are people too. Behind every real-time animated anime character is a streamer like any other, with interests that might contradict those of the character they portray.

One example of this is Lauren Iroas, a (male) NISANJI affiliate who recently got caught slipping on stream. While opening the desktop after a game of Valorant, a Windows Explorer window appeared for a split-second.

Computer, enhance and zoom into the left pane.

Those folders right there are unmistakably JAV codes, one of Japan's greatest inventions if you ask me. If you ever forget the title of a certain porno or the featured actresses, you can easily track it down using the code. So, you might be asking, what does Lauren here get off to?

Nipple torture. To each their own, I guess. The bigger isue here (other than bringing shame upon himself and the company he represents) is that the porn in question was downloaded illegally. Both Lauren and NISANJI issued apologies on Twitter, with the former claiming he pirated the videos before becoming a VTuber. Going forward, NISANJI will be checking their employee's streaming computers to make sure nothing like this happens again. To make matters worse Lauren's whole gimmick is he's a police officer, but from now on he'll forever have a reputation as a dirty cop. At least there's one thing he got out of it - JAV idol Ichika Matsumoto, who Lauren seems to be a fan of seeing as she starred in both the above videos, quote-retweeted him to say "next time, pay for it on Fanza".

What do you guys make of this? What would you do if your porn collection accidentally got exposed? Let us know in the comments!

If I was a streamer I would definitely buy a second computer.

"a Windows Explorer window opened for a split-second".

Nowadays, on the internet, there is no such thing as a "split-second"...

Well, let this be a lesson to everyone who keeps porn in their electronics. Either keep close tabs on it and never let it he borrowed without you close by, or keep it far away from commonly seen files/screens/tabs whatever. Or use code words for all your stuff. I'm a known history buffs, so I always label sensitive folders "history" tho it did make it weird to be specific for actual history files XD

Never have any tabs of your documents open after you're done with them.

And this folks, is why everyone needs two computers. Your work comp, and your private comp.

Accidentally exposed? All you have to do is ask nicely. It’s not something to be embarrassed about, just don’t go about flaunting it when it’s not warranted.

My advice for this to not happen again: get a burner phone or device and make a separate account away from business or personal accounts.

He would be lucky if he wasn't fired or arrested because of this.

Simple, I keep all of mine on an external ssd i bought for transferring stuff between my computers. I decided in the end to just keep all that stuff on there, now I plug and "play" when needed. Then simply unplug and put it away until I feel the mood strike again.
