Video game live action movies for some reason usually mess up on the fits. Like, the blueprint is right in front of them, but for some reason they want to give them a whole new look in the movie. But then, you’ll see a cosplayer wear a 1 for 1 copy of the outfit. Like Hollywood has billions of dollars, and you’re telling me you can’t make a video game accurate costume? But honestly, Imma chalk it down to practicality. But, even though the woman playing Chun-Li in the new movie isn’t wearing the OG outfit. That doesn’t take away from how good she looks as Chun-Li herself.

And fans of Street Fighter are going nuts for it.

But then you have the non Street Fighter fans.

This tweet was easily debunked by real Street Fighter fans like me. Showing off Chun Li’s OG design.

Her top might not be the same as the OG Chun-Li design, but the leggings were there from the start. And just like Chie’s spats, the leggings are a part of the costume that makes it look so good, and sexy. So trying to erase those and trying to push that she looks less sexy without the leggings, is spreading some real propaganda. But, the tweet was so bad that he had to delete it and try to double down.

Trying his best to save face, but the Street Fighter movie is getting closer and closer to its theater release. I’ll be checking it out when it drops October 16th.
What do you think of the Chun-Li actress? Do you think the leggings make Chun-Li’s costume hotter? Are you going to watch the Street Fighter Movie? Tell us in the comments.
