Now let’s talk about something that everyone's been asking for. I talked about the Spice & Wolf VR game that no one asked for, but now I’m talking about the Fruits Basket anime reboot that you might didn’t ask for, but deep down in your heart you really wanted it.

With Funimation grabbing the rights to the series, you can expect a dub to come out of it, which I’m excited for. No guarantee that they’ll be able to get the original English cast, but they did such a good job on the original I would hope for some of their returns. For people who never finished the original series (like me), this is a great excuse to finally finish it. And for the people who finish the original series, but didn’t like how it strayed away from the manga and created an anime only ending, this was stated to follow the manga more closely. We can expect to see the Fruits Basket reboot some time 2019.
