I really hope so, since I enjoyed the first season of Soul Eater that Bones did back in 2008. And Fire Force has been a big surprise so far, so why not go back to the series that started it all. Before Fire Force, there was Soul Eater. Oh, and the reason this thought came to me out of nowhere is because of the thing they teased on the last episode of Fire Force Season 2.

That’s right, the crazy psycho moon that you always see in Soul Eater. It’s either the same moon, or the moon dumb retarded brother.

When I saw this, I looked through the manga to see if it had the same ending, but didn’t find anything resembling it. Instead of showing the moon, the story just kept going along as usual. Maybe the moon shows up in later chapters, but from what I looked up, the moon was nowhere to be found. So my thought is that this is either a tease for a Soul Eater Remake, or saying that Fire Force and Soul Eater are in the same universe. The latter for me is the lame one, I would rather a remake.

But we’ll have to wait and see. I say a remake instead of a sequel because the original Soul Eater ending was an anime original ending, the same as Fullmetal Alchemist. And since Bones did remakes before, I don’t see why they just wouldn’t do it again.
