JimiHen—!! Brings Back Sexy Office Romance
By Yung Namahage • 3 years ago

You know what's lowkey a big kink of mine? Office ladies. Something about women in tight shirts and stockings (preferably glasses as well) with their hair done up looking all professional, getting overworked until the only way they can release all that pressure is through some hot, steamy lovemaking. Oh yes. ComicFesta's done a good job at fulfilling that kink with their lewd workplace romance anime, such as XL Joshi and OtonaKoi. And their next release is a step in familiar territory.

In JimiHen—!! ~Jimiko o Kaechaū Jun Isei Kōyū~ (Pure Heterosexual Intercourse That Transforms a Plain Girl), Rena Yukuhashi has a reputation around her office for her frumpy appearance. But outside of work, she's so beautiful she's almost unrecognisable from her plain ol' office self. Her coworker, Ryohei Hachiya, is stunned when he sees her outside the office and wonders if she'd be interested in getting to know each other - while standing outside a love hotel! I wonder what could happen next?

Ok, so ComicFesta aren't known for their intricate plots, but I was under the impression that we left the "unattractive girl takes off her glasses, gets her hair styled, puts on a dress and is attractive all of a sudden" trope in the 80s. If you ask me, Rena looks cute either way but I prefer her nerdy "before" look on the left to the "after" regular hot woman look on the right. Here's hoping she has a couple of steamy scenes in both outfits.

The anime is based on a manga by Iburo, and will be directed by Rei Ishikura (Overflow) at Studio Hokiboshi, who is also co-writing the scripts with Eeyo Kurosaki (also worked on Overflow). Chief animation will be done by character designer Kazuya Kuroda (Spice and Wolf) and his fellow chief animator Kakuto Gai (Overflow again). Voice cast includes "Kazane" (AKA Harumi Sakurai, known for Yuri Nakamura in Angel Beats!) as Rena and Mahito Kawamura (Shogo Yoshisuzu in Anata dake Konban wa).

Like previous ComicFesta titles, this anime will air in SFW form on TV and a NSFW version will be available online. Curiously, this one features only one voice cast, while the other anime had a different set of voice actors for each version. Could this be the lewdest one yet? Or are they just cutting costs when it comes to hiring talent?

JimiHen—!! will debut on January 4, with the regular version airing on Tokyo MX and the "premium" version coming to the ComicFesta website. Are you guys excited for this one? Which version of Rena do you prefer? Let us know in the comments!
