Skuddbutt is one of the best 3D animators out there. They make great animations, to compliment their great models. When I saw their Workout Ruby model, based on JLullaby’s Ruby’s Workout Regime comic, I instantly busted a nut. So it’s super cool to see Skudd working on a really big project, based on Meru’s character, Meruccubus.

Now I’m not super familiar with this character, I’ve only seen drawings of her floating around from time to time, but that doesn’t mean I’m not interested in seeing this animation. The 3D model for the character is already looking gorgeous, and the short animation tease is also looking mighty good.

With Skudd also hinting at this being fully voiced, I’m super hype to see how this turns out. But we all know how big long projects turn out like. Let’s just hope this project isn’t left in limbo like so many other amazing works.
