Sexy Art and Politics Don’t Mix
By ImJustThatKinky • 3 years ago

Seemingly, artist Sakimichan can't escape controversy. First she was attacked for drawing an age up Nezuko, and now they’re being attacked for not supporting BLM.

With the current climate of the country right now, people who have never retweeted, liked, or commented on political matters are coming out of the woodworks. People who would usually keep their Twitter business only, are coming out in support of BLM, or support of the cops. Sakimichan is one of those people, and she’s been liking tweets that shows what side she supports, and many people didn’t like it.

Candace Owen is known to be a liar and manipulator, which turned people off when seeing that Sakimichan liked one of her posts that was discouraging BLM. Since Sakimichan was called out for liking this post and many other posts retaining BLM, she has now unlike all posts and came out with an apology.

Many people seem to not find the apology genuine like most apologies these days, but an apology had to be made. Sakimichan has lost over 6k followers once this came to light, which might not sound like a huge loss for someone who has over 600k followers. But a loss is a loss.

Now if Candace Owen is known to be a liar and Sakimichan isn't aware of that, I don’t think her liking that comment is so bad. I agree with the things Sakimichan said in her apology, so I know that I forgive her. But I’m just one person, let’s see if other people will slowly forgive her, or will this ruin her career.

Should artists get involved in politics? Do you think Sakimichan fucked up? Do you accept Sakimichan’s apology? Tell us in the comments.
