The next generation of gaming is finally upon us! After years of waiting, the PlayStation 5 has officially been released in certain regions. People may be throwing out their old PS4s just as they did their PS3s in 2013, but there's one feature that the PS5 lacks compared to its two predecessors. 

Sony have confirmed that the PS5 will not include a web browser application, meaning you can't pause your game, open the home screen, boot up the browser and load up a porn site for a quick wank. Last year, Pornhub claimed that 51.5% of their console traffic came from PS4 users, so this news is likely to disappoint some of those looking to upgrade.

Sony's senior vice president Hideaki Nishino commented on the matter in an interview, saying:

"Currently, we do not intend to include a web browser in PS5."

"We have doubts about whether a web browser is necessary for a game console as an app, so we'll have to wait and see."

He does have a point. After all, it is called a PlayStation and not a PornStation, but God knows I contributed to that 51.5% last year, and before I had my own phone and laptop I had plenty of lewd bookmarks on my PS3's browser back in the day. Still, at least there's nothing stopping you from beating off to the content of the games. Personally, I can't wait to bust a nut to the Maiden in Black's feet in 4k when I get my hands on the Demon's Souls remake.
