The popular Weekly Shonen Jump harem series Nisekoi - False Love is getting a live-action adaptation and information on the lead cast, director, and the movies premiere date has been released.

The two leading cast member for the movie are Kento Nakajima, member of Japanese boy idol group Sexy Zone, who will be playing Nisekoi’s male protagonist, Raku Ichijo. And Ayami Nakajo, a fashion model, who will be playing Nisekoi’s main heroine, Chitoge Kirisaki.

The movie will be directed by Hayato Kawai, who has directed another live-action movie based on the manga My Love Story!!. The film is being produced by FINE Entertainment and TOHO will be opening the film in Japan on December 21, 2018.

According to the film's official Twitter to recruit extras, the filming will begin in the Kanto area today, April 24, and is scheduled to be finished by early June. So if you’re in Japan and in the area, maybe you can get selected as an extra!

I wasn’t really a big fan of the manga and I’ve finished the first season of the anime and dropped the second season half way through. The show is a drag and very drawn out on the romance, so a movie might just be the thing I’m looking for, with its limited run time. Unless, they don’t resolve the love at the end of the movie or drag the romance out and make this into a trilogy. That’ll be horrible!
