This question came to me when I saw this Tumblr post (yeah, that dead site), where an OC answers fans questions. The question one fan asked pertained to people lewding said OC, which the OC responded: 

Now this is my question. Is it wrong to lewd someone’s OC? One part of me wants to say yes, it is wrong to lewd someone’s OC, if that person doesn’t want them to be lewded. But another part of me says no, it’s okay to lewd someone OC. Nintendo tells people to stop lewding their characters all the time, sometimes going even as far as trying to get them removed from certain sites. But does anyone listen or stop lewding Nintendo characters? NNnoooo.

And who would when their characters are so damn sexy. 

I know Nintendo is a big company and OCs are usually owned by one person, but the characters are still someone's creation. I bet there’s some manga artist who doesn't like seeing their characters lewd. But I don’t think making a public announcement about it is going to make people stop. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if that made people go harder. I know if I made an OC, I wouldn’t care if someone lewd them. I would take it as a complement, that my OC is hot enough that people want to see them looking sexy. But hey, that’s just me.
