Athena Asamiya is a famous character from the SNK series King of Fighters, among other games showing off the pop idol and psychic fighter. She and her ancestor, Princess Athena, definitely rank up there with the waifus of SNK. It comes to no surprise that, given the popularity of the Virtual Youtuber, that during an event annoucing the King of Fighters All Star iOS and Android game, that Athena will be appearing as a Vtuber.

Athena will be voiced by her current voice actress Haruna Ikezawa. No word yet on how things will play out for the newest Vtuber (that's the word now), but it'll prove to be interesting. Athena may kick ass with kung fu and psychic powers, but she's a famous idol in her universe with a talent for web design.
