Nutaku asked us to look at this game, and here are our thoughts. Armor Blitz, which also comes in a SFW version, is a tactical tank battle game with card collecting elements wrapped up with a deep and interesting story and plot. By "plot", I mean the story is engaging, and there are sexy tank girls. Let's break this game down and check under the chassis of these girls from Valhalla.
Let's take a look at the 'blitz' part of Armor Blitz, shall we? This is a RTS game with lane battling elements. Players must carefully consider where they deploy their units to control the battlefield. Each unit has stats, such as levels, that need to be taken into account when planning battles. Haphazardly sending out units is a recipe for failure. You don't want to make the cute tank girls cry, or worse, do you? Don't send the tank waifus out to fall in battle. Players can still help their units with skills or being able to call in reinforcements. No one likes an arm-chair general.
The tank waifus can be managed both on and off the field, leading us into the next section, dealing with the 'armor' part of Armor Blitz.
Armor Blitz, like many F2P titles, has a gacha system. You pull the lever and see what you get. The girls are collected, and you level them up to fight for you on the battlefield. However, there's more to it than just that. They are tank girls, after all, and they each represent a historical tank. Fans who know their military history will have quite a bit to enjoy with this game.
They're also girls, and not simply reskins of other units. Each girl has a unique story to tell. They can also be romanced, kind of like a dating sim. In the NSFW version, this leads to some romantic scenes that can be enjoyed. You can make love and war all in the same title. Nutaku's adult RTS games don't fail to deliver a bit of both worlds.
Players can build up the relationship meter, get the romance scenes, and have fun with those. However, these special units can unlock stat bonuses that actually make them stronger in battle. Like any of you needed additonal reasons to romance the cute tank waifus.
The storyline in Armor Blitz is actually quite interesting. I won't spoil too much, so I'll let the game speak for itself:
"Welcome to Armor Blitz, where you are the General of a fantastical squad of WWII-era tank girls. Enter Valhalla, the afterlife for fallen spirits. When a mysterious force called The Corruption strikes and ravages the lands of Valhalla, it is up to you to take command and push them out. Gather your army of tanks, enhance their capabilities in combat, and play strategically. It's your move, General."
