Please do not auto equate tanned Asians as black because it will cause misunderstand of Gyaru trend and this is why research exists.

The Gangoro sub type is another form of Gyaru. Gyaru described as using compensated dating like at love hotels. No Gyaru is not black, but the title describes the Gyaru lifestyle. You can find Gyaru in Japan around Akibahara district just like Rockabilly Punks and Gothic Lolita. There is a ton of anime/manga as well doujin/hentai in that area just sightseeing in Japan or for vacation/business.

Gyaru are tanned Japanese females with blonde dyed hair. It started at schools as a trend to rebel vs traditional Japanese beauty standards. Traditional style white is beautiful with long black hair. A geisha is a perfect example, but Gyaru is opposite. If you need source check Japanese Gal magazines. The fashion evolved further in future to flashy bright revealing cloths and make up also jewelry.
