This is why some stories need more than 1 chapter. Like surely over time he'd notice how different she became after that. Or when she has to return to her country, being a mirror demon she wouldn't go straight home and her parents would worry, call the host family, the school, question the boy on their day to day stuff. I know I'm purely wishfully reaching for a good ending but still.
