So people were saying that a hot female guest character like Tifa would bring people back to Tekken, which is true. A new female guest character would have been hot. But you know what’s hotter? A Baki character?!

That’s right, the guest character for Tekken 8 isn’t a female character, but a DUDE!!! And not just any dude, the strongest dude ever, Yujiro Hanma. I’ll be honest, I’m trying to process if I think having Yujiro is a better pick over Baki. I feel like Baki is more noticeable, and as someone who’s watched Baki, I would have enjoyed playing Baki more over Yujiro, but I still think he’s a cool, and unexpected inclusion. And I guess Baki already had his fighting game guest appearance.

Also, this pick has been in a bit of controversy, since some people aren’t really happy with the fact that we have a rapist joining the cast.

But is this inclusion going to make the Tifa supporters happy? Is this going to satisfy the Tifa gooners? I know this means we’re only getting one female character on this character pass, so that might be a let down for some. But I’ll be honest, I’ll be checking out Tekken again, once Yujiro drops.

What do you think of Yujiro in Tekken? Would you rather Tifa? Are you going to play Tekken 8 when Yujiro drops? Tell us in the comments.
