YU-NO Remake Brings the Magic of the Past
By Kasaix • 5 years ago

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World is a classic visual novel released at the end of 1996 for the CP-98. Interest in it sparked like wildfire, and it was ported and adapted all over the place over the years. Maybe the fact that it's also an eroge had some part to play in that. It's a part of gaming history.

In its latest chapter, a remake is being made for the Nintendo Switch. Given how fine the women look, it might get ecchi, but it's the Switch, so sex is most likely not an option.

The plot of this magical game is as follows:

Takuya Arima is a young student whose father, a historian who has conducted various researches, disappeared recently. During a summer vacation Takuya receives a peculiar package from his missing father, along with a letter containing information about the existence of various parallel worlds. At first Takuya doesn’t take it seriously, but soon he realizes that he possesses a device that allows him to travel to alternate dimensions. Is his father alive, after all? If so, where is he?

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World is due to hit Japan with all the nostalgia goodness on March 14, 2019, and will make its way to the West sometime this year.
