Everyone has been loving Jujutsu Kaisen. Jujutsu Kaisen was a breakout success, and it’s still riding high on it even after the anime first season ended. The anime did well, and the manga is selling like hot cakes. Hell, the manga has been selling so well that most of the volumes are out of stock. I’ve been trying to buy Jujutsu Kaisen 0 since January, with still no luck. Amazon even canceled my order cause it was taking so long to get it restocked. But luckily, I might not need to purchase Jujutsu Kaisen 0, with the announcement of it’s movie.



Jujutsu Kaisen is doing the Demon Slayer thing and making a part of the main story a movie. I feel like some of the success of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is from the fact that it’s part of the main story. My Hero Academia movies have been doing good, but they weren’t as crazy as the Demon Slayer movie, and my theory for that is because the movies are separate from the acualty story. You don’t have to watch the My Hero movies to watch the anime, but you have to watch the Demon Slayer movie to watch and understand season 2 of Demon Slayer. So with Jujutsu Kaisen 0 being a prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, you don’t have to watch it, but it could help you understand more about later events. So it’s in the middle of the Demon Slayer movie and My Hero movies. So if my theory is correct, this could either be super successful, or just sell really well. Let’s see if the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie can out shine Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.
