It’s been up in the air about when we might finally get our hands on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. But with the Xbox Game Showcase we finally got confirmation that…David Hayter is back as the voice of Snake.

We also finally got a shot of The Boss, and she’s looking hot as ever. Sadly, we didn’t get a shot of Eva, but even crazier than that is that we didn’t get a release date from this new trailer. WIth only 6 more months in the year, we would all assume if they didn’t want to show off a release date on such a big stage, we can assume that the game will be releasing next year. But, we might be getting it this year, with a now deleted Gamestop tweet.

With a release date of November 17th, kind of crazy getting this news from Gamestop. The tweet had the new trailer in it, which did not have a release date visible within it. So it’s not like they got the date from the trailer, so what makes the Gamestop twitter think November 17th is the release date? Did they get an email saying that they will get a shipment of copies for that date, or was this another bait engagement tweet that many are making nowadays. Who knows, but now my hype is getting pumped for November, even if it’s false hype. Will hopefully be hearing something more concrete soon, but for now, I’m looking forward to November 17th.

Do you think this release date is real? Are you hype for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater? Did you watch the Xbox Game Showcase? Tell us in the comments.
