It’s crazy that right after Twitter, fuck, I mean X, started letting porn be allowed on their site, they now just implemented a new feature that hides everyone’s likes.

That’s right, now you can’t stalk people's likes, and know what they’re liking behind your back. Depending on who you are, this might not seem like such a bad change. It doesn’t really affect people that much I guess, but what sucks for me personally is that it’s a mandatory feature. It’s not a toggle on or off. You don’t get to decide if you want people to see your likes or not, which is weird to me.

I guess the reason for that is that if you did have your likes off, then people would just assume you had something to hide. Why hide your likes if your not liking anything suspicious or fucked up. Now I can’t stalk people and see them liking bigoted posts or transphobic comments.

I see why Elon wanted likes hidden.

It seems like alot of people are displeased by this change, so I’m wondering will this change be back tracked.It might be one of those changes that people complain about, but since it’s not a super big deal, the anger will slowly die down and pass. At this point for me, it’s a slight inconvenience, but if it stays, it won’t hurt me in the long run.
