Persona 5: The Animation might have ended already, and there's still a good bit of the story from the original game that they've yet to adapt, but the anime's twitter page has confirmed a brand new end-of-year special episode titled Persona 5 The Animation: Dark Sun, which is expected to wrap things up.

It was originally announced at the recent "Masquerade Party" event, which featured voice actors of the Phantom Thieves and the singer Lyn, who is famous for her awesome vocal work and the game's critically acclaimed soundtrack and the anime's opening and ending themes. There's also a new key visual to commemorate the announcement of the special.

This isn't the first Persona 5 anime special; there was alsoThe Day Breakers, which was created to promote the game before its release. Dark Sun is set to broadcast on December 30th, and a compilation of the anime will air a day before.
