While Summer Game Fest was going on, and Xbox having their own showcase, Ubisoft also did a little showcase themselves, with Ubisoft Forward. And a game I’m excited for, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, had a very extensive look at it’s game for BOTH of the main characters, and I enjoyed what I got to see of it.



Naoe had the standard Assassin’s Creed gameplay, with some new bells and whistles to help elevate the experience from current Assassin’s Creed, while Yasuke has a more in your face and forward way of approaching situations and battles. Reminiscent of something like Ghost of Tsushima. This has really gotten me interested in the game even more, even local Japanese historian Kenji Yamamoto is interested.

This historian of ours has been blocked by the official Assassin’s Creed Shadows account, for just trying to state “facts” as they claim they were, and have recently been kind of, called out on their behavior.

Which in turn made them resort to some not so innocent methods.

And then the back tracking in a now deleted tweet.

This is when you learn that this whole Yasuke drama is stupid. If people were so confident in their arguments, there would be no need to make fake accounts, or create fake narratives. In the end of the day, the facts should be all that matters, but since they really don’t have any good evidence, they rely on cheap tricks, and tactics. Just like the dirty Templars they are.
