Supposedly, people are getting mad at this Rapunzel reveal, for a game I’ve talked about before, Swords and Slippers.



Now, it’s been said and spread that many people are talking down on this game, and are upset with Rapunzel's design.

But I’ll be honest, when I tried to look for these claims, I was only able to find one comment that the developers responded to.

I’m feeling like the hate for Swords and Slippers is overblown, and not the fact that it’s getting hate, but the viewpoint that the game is getting heavy hate. Most gamers, just like the whole debate of “ugly girls in games” don’t really care about either. Not many people are complaining about Rapunzel design, and no one with any real weight in the game. So making up stories, and over blowing it to this level is really childish.

Rapunzel is looking like a good addition to the roster, even though I’m still a bigger fan of Red Riding Hood myself, Rapunzel hair being it’s own creature is a really cool concept, and I’m interested to see how it turns out. I’m also interested to see if those million views translate into sales. We’ll soon know once the game gets a release date. Let's see if they'll really break the internet.
