Is Fortnite Porn Here to Stay?
By Yung Namahage • 5 years ago

Recently, I was walking through town, minding my own business, and I discovered a storefront full of Fortnite merch. Just down the road, I saw a kid doing one of the game's dances as his friends laughed around him. This made me remember that Fortnite, whether you love it or hate it, is currently the "big thing" in gaming, and its hype has no sign of dying down anytime soon. If you're online or in school, talk about this Battle Royale shooter is inescapable.

Could the same be said about Fortnite in the NSFW world? As Rule 34 famously dictates: "If it exists, there is porn of it," and Fortnite is definitely no exception. At the time of writing, "Fortnite" returns 1116 results on Pornhub, ranging from cosplay sex to SFM animations to videos simply using the game as a plot point (e.g. Gamer Girl Sucks Off Boyfriend While Playing Fortnite, etc.). Fortnite hentai is also in demand as well, judging by the 1206 images tagged with "Fortnite" on Rule34.Paheal.

It's no surprise that the game has inspired this much NSFW material. Not only is it mega popular but its cartoonish art style includes a wide cast of cutesy female characters. And what do players spend most of their time looking at?

That's right, booty. The many dance emotes and the position the player takes after being downed only help to accentuate those curves. I can't imagine how many adolescents had their sexual awakenings while playing this game. In fact, it reminds me of a certain other online shooter with its own selection of playable waifus and a massive online ecchi following. Overwatch.

However, one significant area Overwatch has over Fortnite when it comes to porn is that its characters have fleshed out personalities and the lore is much more substantial, making it easier to create scenarios that lead to fucking. The lore in Fortnite seems to be restricted to its paid Save the World mode, which is all but overshadowed by the free-to-play Battle Royale mode, while its characters have little in the way of dialogue or backstories, barring guests John Wick and Thanos. While Overwatch features a band of unique heroes, Fortnite characters are merely interchangeable skins.

But this could change in the near future. Epic Games has stated its intention to release Save the World for free next year, and it's guaranteed to have some changes if its playerbase gets anywhere near as big as Battle Royale mode's. Who knows, there might even be another game mode coming soon, or a much-rumoured Fortnite TV Show. One thing's for certain: as long as Fortnite remains as popular as it is, perverts will keep turning out porn parodies. No exceptions.
