We got some news…well, not news, but a countdown for some news, and it’s BERSERK NEWS!!!

Okay, so the original post was on November the 26, so that means we should be hearing some news about this Berserk project on the 10th. So what I wanted to ask all you peeps is if you guys think this will finally be the Berserk anime remake that everyone has been asking for.

No one asked for this.

At this point in time, it wouldn’t really be surprising to see Berserk get a remake. So many old anime series are getting remakes or reboots, so I can definitely see Berserk getting one, it’d be profitable that’s for sure. And with Netflix announcing that they’ve got the rights to stream the Berserk 1997 series, maybe that’s just a hint that Netflix is the one behind whatever this project is.

I heard people hoping that the people who worked on the Netflix animated Castlevania series would be the ones working on the new Berserk anime. People also talked about wanting MAPPA to handle it, since they’ve been killing it with anime recently. But that’s IF the countdown is really for a Berserk anime.But you know how these Japanese marketers are. I wouldn’t be surprised if this countdown was just for a new Berserk pachinko machine.
