With the latest Splatoon focus Nintendo Direct, we got some more information on Splatoon 3. We got a release date, which is September 9th, and the reveal that all us horny squid fuckers was waiting for. The reveal of the two new poster girls for Splatoon 3, and they’re looking like a..miss?

Splatoon never missed with their idols, Splatoon 1 had Callie and Marie, then in Splatoon 2 we got Pearl and Marina, and now with Splatoon 3, we get Shiver and Fyre.

Now unlike the idols for Splatoon 1 and 2, these girls weren’t instant hits with people, or atleast, from what I saw. You have Shiver, who is dark blue and has an emo look going on. I’ll be honest, I actually think Shiver is pretty cute, Shiver doesn’t have the obvious hot look that someone like Marie and Marina had, but Shiver is still pretty hot in a weird way. Also, Nintendo made sure to avoid using any pronouns for Shiver, so we’re not sure what gender Shiver is. Maybe trap squid waifu alert.

But then you have Fyre, the yellow one with the BIG ass forehead. And don’t get my words twisted, she doesn’t have a big ass, she just has a huge forehead. But, let’s be honest, that’s what we all said about Pearl, and then that gremlin became my favorite squid.

But I feel like we don’t have to worry. Even if we think the new squid idols are pretty meh. NSFW artists can easily change that opinion in a heartbeat.
