Don’t Touch My FOOD!!!
By ImJustThatKinky • 1 year ago

I wrote an article where I talk about a Muscle Girl bar in Japan. I mention that America also has their fair share of themed restaurants, and one of them that I brought up was a Karen theme restaurant.

I had a tweet video to go with this, but the account was taken down, so I’ll use a picture instead. The original tweet comment talked about how he didn’t like how the girl touched the man's food. To sell it even more, the waitress grabbed one of the man’s onion rings, and ate it.

Now this triggers some people in the comments, which for me, I didn’t really understand. The problem is that she touched the man's food, which is gross. But, it’s not like she touched the man's food and made him eat it. She grabbed an onion ring, and ate it, separate from his other food. The girl was even respectful enough to not double dip. Which is totally out of character for a Karen, so she’s actually ruining the restaurant theme experience.

It would have been different if she had touched his burger, bit off it, and then gave it back to him. Hell, just touching it would have been bad, cause he’s going to eat that. But I would have no problem with her eating one of my fries and that’s it. As someone who worked at a restaurant, that’s the least you need to worry about. The things the people in the back get away with actually piss me off with how much they try to disrespect people's food. Also, do they not know that people touch their food to get it on their plates? I feel like what freaks some people out is seeing someone actually touching the food in front of them. So if you don’t like the sight of someone taking your food, then you might avoid this Karen theme restaurant. I also wonder, was the waitress actually allowed to do that, or was she just hungry?

Do you think it’s gross if someone grabbed one of your fries? Have you worked at a restaurant before? Would you visit this Karen theme restaurant? Tell us in the comments.
